Joomla Scaling in the Cloud

According to Builtwith Research, Joomla powers more than 8% of the world’s top 1,000,000 websites as measured by traffic and more than 3.2% of the entire internet. Joomla adoption on the internet is second only to WordPress for content management systems and significantly ahead of Drupal. Joomla cloud searches have also consistently outpaced Drupal cloud searches on Google trends. Just released, Joomla 3.3, includes Cloud Storage APIs for Dropbox, Google, and Rackspace for even greater integration with cloud services. In addition, Microsoft Azure supports Joomla as part of its Apps for Windows Azure.

Joomla is a leader in the cloud and makes it easy to expand your business and marketing efforts. Cloud services offer reliable scalability, redundancy, and geo-location to get your message to the people that need it in a cost effective way. With Joomla as the engine, the native ease of use and flexibility allow you to develop powerful applications for ecommerce, marketing, data management, and more.
